Villaggio e Ristorante La Perla

What an amazing dining experience at Ristorante La Perla last weekend! I was invited by friends to a private 9 course meal hosted by Mimmo the owner himself to a group of 18 people. I can not even describe in words how delicious and beautifully presented all the dishes were. Mimmo came to the table as each dish was brought out by the servers giving us a full description of all the ingredients and the source were they came from. He is so passionate about food and making his guests satisfied. All the ingredients were fresh, mostly organic and locally sourced with many fruits and vegetables grown by Mimmo himself. He even picked and dried the chanterelle mushrooms used in the creamy bean and crispy cuttlefish soup which was the most delicious soup I’ve ever had. Another favorite was a savory cannoli filled with a cream with pieces of fish and dried tomatoes. I highly recommend booking a reservation if you ever happen to vacation at the beautiful Marina di Camerota. I cannot wait to visit again! Ula

Just returned from a week at the resort. We were assigned room no. 18 for 2 adults and 1 child. Very small room without a wardrobe and with a constant smell of sewage. In a week they never changed the sheets and once there was a change of towels. The services are truly zero, the entertainment was disorganized for the whole week (but we appreciated the commitment of only 2 boys alone to manage the various activities) On the evening of mid-August they organized practically nothing. A sadness and a boredom. To date we do not recommend it and we certainly will not return. For what we paid we expected a minimum of services. Only the sea is saved which is obviously a spectacle!

Wonderful place, we were assigned a small house with 2 terraces overlooking the sea with a beautiful view! Sea within walking distance, market 150m away, very quiet village, it was exactly what we were looking for, a wonderful stress-free seaside holiday. Strategic position if you want you can reach the center of Camerota in 15 minutes on foot. We will definitely be back!

The perfect place to regenerate. The structure with its houses develops in height along a hill surrounded by nature. Friendly and helpful staff starting from the reception staff up to the kitchen and bar staff, beach with reserved umbrella and sunbeds, shuttle service for the beach/room section, varied and quality menu (including fish-based, and that was all very good). Well located and not far from other activities such as supermarkets, diner and others. There's no denying that you deserve 5*
